The Climate Project is a non-profit organization on an important mission...to increase public awareness of the climate crisis and find potential solutions. In less than two years, over 1,000 volunteers have been trained by Al Gore to present a version of the slideshow featured in the Academy Award-winning film An Inconvenient Truth. As of last month, Climate Project volunteers have delivered more than 10,000 presentations, reaching a combined audience in excess of one million people. 
This weekend, Al Gore will be in Canada to train volunteers for The Climate Project - Canada.
If you happen to be in Montreal, you may wish to check out Comedians For Climate Project-Canada, A Gala Evening of Comedy at Place des Arts. The event, taking place on Saturday, April 5th, will be hosted by the very funny Russell Peters, with Al Gore being the guest of honour.
Other guests scheduled to appear include Angelo Tsarouchas, Derek Seguin, Mark Critch, Jean Paul, Frazer Smith, Glen Foster and George Stroumboulopoulos.
