Easter/Hockey Summit of the Arts time.

Happy Easter and Happy Earth day for those that celebrate!

George Stroumboulopoulos celebrates his religion Hockey each Easter weekend by playing in the Hockey Summit of the Arts in Toronto.
It's a good times league of artists, musicians, media folk and comedians gathering and playing hockey for fun.
You can cheer for Georges team The Chart Attack Hack at the Westwood Arena or maybe you know and support players like Bob Mackowycz  who I believe plays for Parkdale,  or others attending this summit from far and wide. Here is a link to the schedule   The hockey teams also compete in a  Hootenanny on the stage at the El Mocombo, as performers for a prize more important than winning a series of hockey games. Entertaining the audience.

WWE Champion Edge forced to retire

Exclusive clip of WWE Champion Edge on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight.

Edge announced yesterday that he is being forced to retire. After suffering numbness and uncontrollable trembling in his arms and hands, he went for an MRI last week. The doctor determined that Edge would never be cleared to compete again, and would be forced to retire immediately.

Amazingly, Edge was just on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight discussing the possibility of retirement. But you can tell, he had no idea the end of his career would be coming so suddenly. Check out this exclusive clip from an interview taped just two weeks ago:

I have a question for you.

It's spring!  It's time to add new colour to the garden and add new links and pictures to this blog.
Maybe you want to add new politicians to Ottawa in this tulip festival time or you may prefer the ones already rooted there. Please participate in the poll right there on the sidebar. Are you going to vote (in this poll) and in the Federal election on May 2nd ?

I added a link on the sidebar to George's Insongnia page so you can check out his latest late night song dedication and all his previous late night or very early morning song choices.
There are a few more website links we added to the list as well including Freerice.com, the WFP and the Strombo Show Chat blog.
If you have suggestions for that link list or pictures you want to share please feel free to email us. We will check the Stroumboulopouli@hotmail.com email box for your George photo or link or blog post idea. Keep it clean okay!
