George and The Hour are in the news again.
George Stromboulopoulos is becoming an Internet star according to a recent article by the Canadian Press.
The article goes on to mention CBC showcasing of The Hour on YouTube gets millions of hits. The shows popularity is becoming global.
I think they will have to come up with a new ratings system to take all the ways The Hour is now getting viewed, into account.

I'm sure that won't stop the cbc from trying to sell the show into other markets, or worse, other markets from trying to entice George away from the cbc with more money. I just hope that when the money comes knocking he remembers the restrictions and censorship that'll be put on him if he accepts, and the show won't resemble itself for long. :o(
