George introduces his Musical Hockey team.

The Chart Attack Hack become Spinal Hack !
They made not have made the finals in the tournament but they were a favourite of the night at Lee's Palace.

Some people want more of an explanation... The hockey summit has a very entertaining variety show (hootenanny) that goes along with the whole hockey weekend.
There are lots of musicians on these hockey teams (Chris Murphy from Sloan, Jim Cuddy from Blue Rodeo and a BNL or two) and some of them put on a show...
The thing with Georges hockey team The Chart Attack Hack, is they do a spoof on the mocumentary This is Spinal Tap. So George, as a spartan like warrior introduces the band. He and the other Spartans then gard the stage so the fans don't go wild as the concert plays out. This is the just for fun side of George...
You'll just have to make plans to come next year and support the Hack.

"Spartan like warrior"...I was wondering about the details surrounding the photo of the "shirt-challenged" one. For next year he needs one of those funky Spartan helmets!! I'm sure the CBC prop dept. could help him out with that one ;-)

Gosh, now I wish I'd given up my Easter weekend plans...I think I would have had more fun!

Is this why he never updates strombo.com anymore?

This could very well be why he has no spare time for strombo.com
He has a lot of projects on the go and a grinding schedule of events... no time for sleep for that boy it's work hard and play hard...

Let me be the first to say what we're all thinking...YUMMA!!!

Pretty sure there was some excellent, cutting commentary on this blog, but I got stopped, breathless; George, shirtless....

What did you say?

I was actually referring to the guy in the yellow tights...George needs to go to the gym more often before he gets me "breathless"...
