Are there no more Toronto tapings after this week?

None on the Schedule. I will find out more about that today. From what I understand the show will be on the road the next few weeks...
I know for sure they will be back to tape in Toronto in January.

Okay, my dorkiness continues... I hit the trashcan thinking it was an edit option. :rolls eyes:

Anyway, what I'd posted was...

I remember that they were really late putting up the last batch of tape dates on the website, so if there are more in Toronto before Christmas, they will probably up shortly. But as Barbara said, apparently they are going on the road. Probably Vancouver at one point, because didn't he mention that he was doing the Strombo Show from there in the next couple of weeks? Or was I hallucinating again?

What I wanted to add was:

I am really looking forward to the Alan Alda segment as I've always found him very articulate and I enjoy hearing him speak.

Carry on. ;)

The Hour will be taping in Vancouver in the first week of December. George will also do his radio show from there at that time. They are doing 'something else' in the studio for the remainder of November and that is why no tapings are scheduled at this time. After thay come back from Vancouver we may see more scheduled tapings in TO.

Hahahahahahahaha... "something else"... that sounds so... er... devious.

Something else could be things like Openers, The List, Best Stories Ever and work they may be doing on a Christmas/boxing Day Music special... Maybe... just a guess.

why the pretending and the "secrets"?

Not exactly a "guess" there - anyone's who's been to The Hour the last few weeks or has talked to George at events etc. as even I have - knows that they are working on Christmas stuff and going on the road. George is pretty open about things and gives out details to anyone who asks questions.
