The Story of George's accident can be found here .
What does this mean for The Hour?
That man will continue to host in pain. He has done it before for Much Music after another motorcycle accident he survived. Tune in to The Hour tonight to see more of this story.
Broken Bones...He can deal with.
Missing hockey with the Chart Attack Hack... I am so sorry George. That is probably going to keep you out for a good chunk of the season.... I know you are going to miss that.
Offering to help George cope with a broken collar bone is sweet and hey, I offered...but we'll keep in mind his mother is a nurse and I am sure he has plenty of other offers to help him with ..whatever.

You actually offered?
Are you a crazy, psycho, freak?
Do you actually know George?
Other than showing up at his show once or twice a month?
Give the guy some peace.
Lady, leave him alone!
Yes I know George... he would not be offended. Why are you judging me for offering help? George knows me well enough to know it's a well meant offer that he will politely refuse. We're good and no one is offended... until you just said what you said... *shrugs*
That first comment about the help offered sounds harsh and what is it to you!

Hmmm, I think first anon. needs to get laid...
Sorry to hear about the accident. Seemed in pretty good spirits on the show last night. Maybe he did decide to take the meds. lol
Thank God he only had 1 helmet, one of us could have been on that bike ;) (inside joke!)
Seriously, hope he will be fine soon...
That first comment is ridiculous...
The lady from 3-R :)
I think the first comment was a bit more on pace then it would seem.
I think Anon 4:51 knows me better than Anon 5:50...and anon 9:27 knows me not at all.
LOL Carol S that's funny.
I have broken my collarbone 3 times Ouch I know how much that hurts...the offer to help (and it was only an offer to drive him around, nothing more) was because he has done so many nice things for me. I owe him one.
You`re right B. we owe him one...
regarding our best story ever...
the lady from 3-R :)
Hey Anon at 9:27...I'm not a particularly religious person, but consider this...
"Judge not, lest ye be judged".
Judgement is something without basis. I'd say somehow, 9:27 has some facts in there, sounds more scientific to me.
I wonder if the bike slipped close to the CBC site as I know there are several construction projects in the area, and he mentioned on the show that the bike had hit some gravel?
Casey
how sweet of you Barbara. i'm sure he appreciates the offer even if he declined.
I agree with anon #1 you aren't a part of his life but it sounds like you and your friends are trying to pretend like you're all best buddies I'm sure he has enough friends and family to take care of him let the man have some peace
