George Stroumboulopoulos sits down with The Dictator, airing this Tuesday May 15th at 11:05pm.
Just like when the Trailer Park Boys all came in to do an interview in character...if you like that kind of thing.
George interviewed His Excellency, General Colonel Doctor Aladeen, Democratic President-For-Life, Invincible and All-Triumphant Commander, Chief Ophthalmologist, Brilliant Genius of Humanity, Excellent Swimmer Including Butterfly, and Beloved Oppressor and Ruthless Protector of the Precious and Expendable People of Wadiya, a.k.a. Sacha Baron Cohen, in a "secret" location in NYC earlier this month.
About The Film:
Sacha Baron Cohen stars as General Aladeen in The Dictator, the heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy never comes to the country he so lovingly oppresses. It is the first scripted starring role for Baron Cohen who has previously brought his signature characters Borat and Bruno to the big screen. The film comes out on the Wednesday May 16th.

The Supreme Leader spoke on topics ranging from (the lack of) Freedom of Speech in his home country of Wadiya, his love of Ronald Regan, mourning Kim Jong Il, is "current" unwelcome houseguest Muammar Gaddafi, the Ryan Seacrest fallout and who really killed Tupac (himself).
The General also addressed his relationship with Canada, claiming Stephen Harper isn't a real leader because he only has one wife. Don Cherry, Celine Dion and Justin Bieber were also covered in this Canadian exclusive.
