Tonight on the Strombo Show, Laura Jane Grace of Against Me! stops by the Broom Closet.  She will be discussing Against Me!'s most recent album,Transgender Dysphoria Blues, which is their first album since their frontman, Thomas James Gabel, has come out as a transgender woman.  Laura will be chatting about the album and will be performing an acoustic set of some of their songs.

Dave Hodge Joins George On The Strombo Show Tonight!

When the new hockey season returns in the Fall of 2014, George will take his seat alongside a long list of greats who sat behind the microphone to host CBC's Hockey Night In Canada.  Since the legendary Foster Hewitt brought Canadian hockey from radio to television, more than a dozen others have followed in his footsteps.  One of those greats was Dave Hodge, who sat in the HNIC seat from 1971 until 1987, hosting 15 Stanley Cup Finals.  Tonight, Dave joins George in the Broom Closet.

It will be an emotional day.  George may be back (aside from HNIC) as an interviewer in a weekly format some time in the future.
